I'm an IT guy and just purchased 4 700w's with EVDO access. I'm convinced there's got to be someway to share that with a laptop. Some card, or cable, it seems ridiculous to have to subscribe to VZ Access for another $60 a month for EVDO on a PC card when each guy already has an account on his phone.

[Edit: If you're curious about the hands on of the device it's pretty underwhelming. Imagine windows mobile (which I can't stand) on a 650, now give it a grainier screen and slightly nicer case design. I do like the keyboad look and feel much better also]

Check the forum below. Verizon doesn't officially support USB tethering and last I checked, no one has yet found a way to hack. Some are trying the 'wmodem' program from a 6700 PPC, but it doesn't sound like wmodem runs on the Treo 700.

Looks like some have the Junefabrics solution working. The question is now, what will Verizon charge?
