OK: Dell Dimension 4700 Desktop with PC card adapter/K650

Well, mostly OK.

I put in a PC card adapter, which seemed to work well generally--no install problems.

The Kyocera 650 mostly works well, with the exception that periodic error messages pop up saying that the card was powered off, and then it would power on automatically. Over long periods, dozens of these messages would pile up, but nothing really stopped. These messages precluded connections originating from the outside (via a VPN connection). But for normal operation, it worked OK, with the messages coming less frequently. I'm not sure it if's just the card adapter or something else.

But when originating connections, these messages can be managed, and it worked OK. I got speeds of 900K within view of I-5 near Sylmar, CA, which I was told is close to a tower.
