This thread will speculate on what EVDO products will be announced at CES 2006 in Vegas next week.
Verizon probably will announce
Treo 700w - first Windows 5.0 based EVDO Treo (already says coming soon on web site)
XV6700 (same as Sprint's PPC6700) - a Windows Mobile 5.0 device (see our PPC6700 review)
Some new VCAST service
Kyocera will probably announce the KR1 (although, not sure if they will be there or not)
This will probably be the launch of AMPd Mobile and probably a TON of EVDO phones.
Forget about the xbox, ipod and other cool consumer stuff. Just post things related to 3G Broadband, and what you either (know) or guess what will be displayed at CES.
Anyone know if Sprint will be there and what they may be announcing (obviously Mobile Broadband/EVDO)

| Palm will also apparently come out with a couple more low end PalmOS-based Treos next year, with EVDO. Don't know if they'll be announced at CES though. |

Kyocera will announce the ** Magic Lamp ** : a device shaped like an ancient babylonian oil lamp. You rub it and a genie appears and you get 3 wishes (the only limit being you can't wish for more wishes nor for a kyocera product that actually makes it to the retail market).
