Alltel-EVDO live in Little Rock, AR

Hi, I just discovered this forum while looking for information on EVDO with Alltel.

It's available in and around Little Rock, AR and although the Alltel Rep said it was "broadband statewide" it's really just EVDO around Little Rock and the rest of the state, where I've been anyway, is 1x-RTT.

Anyway, I live about 20 miles outside of Little Rock in Benton and my connection speeds from home have averaged 350k, which isn't great but it sure beats dial-up. Approximately 30 miles from Little Rock, in Malvern, I get switched to 1x-RTT and my speeds average 135-140k which is MUCH better than the Edge, which averaged 60 to 70 k last summer.

Anyway, just thought I would put this out there, I have a question about my card but I'll post that in a new thread.
