Good Morning!

I need to find a solution for providing wireless internet connectivity for the field guys that work for our organization.
The solution needs to meet the following rules:

1. Must provide WiFi (802.11b/g) connectivity.
2. Be portable (have a battery with decent life and be small/not too bulky.)
3. Have the ability to block internet access to all but a handful of whitelisted websites.
4. Must not have an easily-accessible/easily-removable EVDO card (the card must be encased inside the device, to prevent end users from removing it and plugging it directly into a laptop.)

We considered using a MiFi device, but we couldn't find a way to block all but some whitelisted sites.

It looks like most CradlePoint routers will perform most of these functions, but only a few of these actually "lock" the card inside the device, and these need a separate accessory for it. (Is there any other device than the MBR1200 that would do this?)

Can anyone suggest an alternative that would meet all of these specifications?

Thanks in advance

To answer your questions:

1. All of the Cradlepoint routers offer (802.11b/g) connectivity with some models even provide the 'N' wireless standard too.

2. The PHS300 router is currently the only Cradlepoint router that has an integrated battery.

3. Cradlepoint routers can be configured through the admin page to accept or block access to any sites you wish to block. Ordering with 3Gstore.com gives you access to free technical support to help walk you through any type of configurations you need.

4. The only device that currently has an available security enclosure is the MBR1200.

If you need an external battery source we do have Tekkeon Batteries that will other Cradlepoint routers such as the MBR1200. You can view our Tekkeon Batteries here - Tekkeon Batteries
