Hello...

I have a Sprint Overdrive and I'm in a 4G area (Philadelphia Metro). When i'm at work, I get about 60-80% 4G signal. While using my iPad, the internet will just freeze up. I can still access the OD Router page, look at the settings, etc, but no data sends or receives (the counter doesn't change, but the timer does).

If I reboot the device, it will work fine then do it again. I'm also noticing the device is quite warm to the touch. I do keep it plugged in while using it.

I don't really recall this happening when i'm using it in 3G mode at work.

Any suggestions??? I'm on the latest firmware.

Have you had the opportunity to try this Overdrive with anything else besides the iPad?

I would be curious to see if you are seeing these same issues with a Windows or Mac Laptop or desktop as well. I see that you are on the new firmware and have not experienced any lockups any longer when using any of the idevices and anything else with a wifi footprint.

If the unit still is having issues locking up with devices other than just an ipad, I would try a Hard reset once and if that still does not correct the issue, it would be best to request a replacement through Sprint.

What firmware version are you running on the OverDrive?

I've tried with my macbook pro's and same issue. I did upgrade the firmware last week and that seems to have resolved it! I haven't have the problem since!
