First I'd like to say that I love this thing. I got it on Friday (ordered online the day before and received it with free shipping in less than 18 hours!) and used it all weekend in Philadelphia and DC (apparently there is 4G in DC but it's currently very spotty still).

So here's my deal: I left the Overdrive on due to me falling asleep while watching Hulu overnight. I woke up and everything was off and noticed that my Overdrive was "off". Apparently the screen was just black cause the unit was still warm to the touch. I unplugged it, took it to work and tried to turn it on. Well, it goes to the booting screen and sometimes it'll ask me to "confirm" the connection by pressing the power button. At times, the screen will go back before or right after I click the power button to confirm. I've tried taking the battery out, resetting the unit, etc etc with no resolution.

Called Sprint Tech and they have never heard of this issue. So now I'm taking it to a Sprint store. I do have the latest firmware and have been using it since Friday (3 days total so far).

Anyone else experiencing this? I can't seem to find anything issues similar to mine. I've attached a link to the youtube video I took. Not sure if it's processed yet but as you can see, I've been going through this ALL day with my Overdrive. It's just loops over and over again.

Are you powering it on when it's running on battery only, and does it power on correctly if it's plugged into USB or wall power? I had an issue with mine where I couldn't turn it on when running on battery and it turned out to be a firmware issue. I can't recall which post it was on, but someone mentioned that this is a bug related to having the standby timer set to 60 minutes when on battery. I changed mine to never and it's been working fine ever since.
