Alrighty, so I picked up a Wilson SignalBoost Mobile Professional (801241) and I already have a Booster Antenna. I will only be using this on the go inside of buildings with a Sprint 3G aircard.

I think I need to order a new adapter cable (http://3gstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=327) to use it with the Wilson's antenna port. Before I order, I'm wondering if using the booster antenna will actually improve signal to my aircard or will it only allow more range to the amplified signal?

So far, my luck with thee SignalBoost has yet to be determined. I've tried it in areas where I have 2-3 bars of EVDOrA service, and I honestly can't tell if using my aircard directly with the Booster Antenna or if using the SignalBoost only produces better results. I would hope that the SignalBoost is the better solution (not only because of it's price) because it seems that signal level and quality is perfectly fine outdoors, but that the buildings I am in kill the reception. Common sense says that if you can pull the outside signal inside and rebroadcast, that would be the best solution.

However, I am replacing my U760 with a U301. I love the U760, but after lots of troubleshooting, I cannot figure out why my U760 craps out when used with my CradlePoint CTR350. Anyways, I'll have 4G when it's available. But the U301 has no antenna port. Darn. Hopefully the SignalBoost will workout for me!
