I keep getting the "cannot find server or cannot display web page" when I have my Verizon USB 760 in the router. It seems to happen frequently. I can surf a couple of pages then bang no connectivity.

I am using the latest firmware for the 500 and the 760, I do NOT use the Open DNS webfiltering (I have tried it with it on, check the bypass algorith) same issue happens.

I have flushed my DNS via ipconfig..does no good. I unplug the router..wait 15-20 secs..connects I am back to surfing for a while..then it happens again.

I plug straight into my PC and use VZ access and do not have this issue. I have good signal..even be better when I install the 32" Omni I got from the 3G store.

I use Win7 64-Bit/IE 8 and Firefox. Using IE diagnose it tells me DNS issues every time.

Help?

I turned off all firewalls. It's frustrating...I must not be holding my mouth right or something....

Any chance that router has a DNS Relay setting? I had to disable it on my MBR1200 to get it to work reliably when sending out DHCP to clients. Or I could hard code a DNS into the clients and they could work. Since I never got a real indication WTH DNS Relay offered for me other than frustration I just disabled it.

I had "DNS issues" as well.

I think I have solved them by taking the following actions...

*Enabled dns relay on the router. But NOT "dynamic DNS".

*Set OPEN DNS as the dns settings in the router.

*Opened "services" on the computer, (XP Pro), and disabled DNS, DHCP and DCOM.

*In 'networks', set the connection to use 192.168.0.1 as the primary DNS setting, and 4.2.2.2 as the secondary.

*In my firewall, set all ICMP and DNS requests to be allowed to 192.168.0.1 ONLY. All others disallowed.

For three days, I have had no disconnects. No power-downs. No DNS poisoning. Not a PEEP from the CTR350. And acceptable, (and steady), speeds.
