Is there anyway to get online without piggybacking with a cellphone? While in the car on road trips? I'm not very technical savvy so I might not have worded the question right. Basically i want to be able to get online anytime I want without having to search out a wifi spot.

You can get setup with the PHS300 it has an internal battery and you can opt for the car adapter so it can charge your unit when your in your car, When your not in your car you can put it in your briefcase and be a walking hotspot.
