I have the Verizon MiFi. I tried to charge it with the supplied Verizon AC adapter. For hours, just a blinking red light.

This has happened with both my batteries. It also has happened with other chargers, and with the micro-USB cable attached to a laptop.

I've read the various threads on charging. It appears the indicator lights are not reliable. But that doesn't mean they are not right here.

When I plug into VZ Access manager, I don't see a way to see the actual battery level. Is there one?

Any help would be appreciated.

To update. I logged into the web interface to try to see the battery level there. I see is what appears to be a battery icon which is at the right of the menu bar. The icon is blue and contains 4 vertical gray bars. I guess this means the battery is fully charged.

Additionally, under Advanced > Diagnostics > Modem Status, in addition to viewing signal strength (RSSI?), there are entries for battery level (4) and battery charging (0, as the battery isn't charging). I'm not sure if 4 is the top level.

Assuming these are two ways to see the battery level, is there any other way besides the light, which appears unreliable? My research disclosed an app for the iPhone which includes the MiFi's battery level among other info, but I don't own an iPhone. I also saw in the forums Vista/7 Gadget for Sprint MiFi (http://www.evdoforums.com/thread12264.html) but for whatever reason the battery icon doesn't appear even after I fixed the images path.

Still have the red blinking light, instead of the amber light, while charging. Appreciate any input on that.
