I haven't seen anything lately about the issue whereby after you upgrade the MIFI2200's firmware, you can do the old work-around (i.e. edit config file) to both tether and use the hotspot feature at the same time.
Anyone come up with a solution yet? |

is there a way to interrogate the MiFi2200 to see which version firmware it has?
I went to the 192.168.1.1. and looked around but must have missed where to find it.

not sure if it's the same as Sprint, but I have to login, then go to :
http://192.168.1.1/wwandiag.html
to see the current firmware for my MiFi
Verizon may be different. |

Still doesn't work. I have downloaded/changed/uploaded the modified config.xml file and definitely doesn't work. I don't know what you guys are talking about but I can't tether a computer (non wifi) and use the wifi at the same time on another computer.
I CAN charge the mifi via USB but I have to choose wifi or VZAccess Manager to connect. If I use tether, then I can't share wifi.
Are you guys sure it's working for you? |
