KPC680 Dual antennas

I am sure this has been asked before but I haven't been able to find it.

I currently use a KPC680 connected to a cradlepoint 500 router. I also have a wilson antenna and amp which I purchased from 3GStore a couple years ago. My RSSI is about 85 but will fluctuate to the occasional 94.

The KPC680 has dual antenna ports. My question is, would I get an even better signal if I connect a second antenna or would a second antenna be redundant? I am not necessarily looking for better speed, but better consistency.

The second antenna on the KPC680 will only improve upload speeds, as the second antenna will only improve the transmission signal, and not the receiving signal. While this does improve your connection quality, its not going to provide twice the signal Wink
