Something to be aware of...

Ever consider how much bandwidth coming down your service contains advertising and images that you really don't want?

I mention this situation because I've never seen it mentioned in any discussion of overage charges. You go over your monthly cap and you are essentially paying extra for those annoying ads. IMHO Madison Avenue has been out of control for decades and it keeps getting worse.

I know there are ways and software to block some of it but most users aren't even that savvy. Just like so many automobile owners who don't even want to be bothered by checking the oil and air in the tires, PC users just want log on and go!

It would be interesting to have a study done to see how much of that 5GB you pay for is unwanted ads and objects.

Anyway this problem is a good tool to throw in your arsenal if anyone is going to argue that 5 GBs is too low of a cap.
