I have tried to get it to the settings page (via Firefox browser)

as outlined here... http://www.evdoinfo.com/content/view/2785/179/

No luck. Any ideas?

How is that site different than using the Verizon software?
(VZAccess Manager)

Thanks!

I just tried to get that link to open.

No luck in Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Did I miss something? Do I need to be using the MyFi
before I can get to that page?

Oops,

Mis-read your directions. Fired up my Verizon MiFi
used Safari (on iphone) and it connected right away, thanks!

Any chance there is a way I could use this in France for a trip
from California? Where might I get more info on that?

Roaming is typically VERY expensive, but then again I don't know if it will even work in europe.

You should just call your provider.

I have seen the Novotel branded version of the same unit.

Some come with SIM card slots. Could I buy one of those
and get a French SIM to get affordable internet that way?
