Mac Sprint aircard update PRL by phone?

Hi I am a little confused on the PRL issue with Mac OSX can anyone tell me once and for all what is possible? I thought I read on evdoinfo that I could dial a phone number to Sprint to update the PRL on my Sprint card, but I can't find the page I read it on. Michael said PRL updates can only be accomplished via a PC laptop but I can't remember if that was for the initial activation or for each, I just want to know one way or the other what is correct once and for all.

I was never able to get the update to work by dialing a number - this was with Verizon - I have yet to try it with Sprint. I have heard from others, that it is a bit more complicated that just dialing *228 or *22899.

So, in order to update the PRL, you need to run an Activation from the supported software. Right now, that is Windows only.
