USB760 Gets hot

My USB 760 modem tends to get rather hot to the touch when I'm connected to a chat program.

Is this normal?

You leave yourself open for a few jabs and jokes about hot + chat ... but I won't go there.

Usually when the modem gets hot it is because it ramps up the output to maintain the connection in a poor signal enviroment. What is your RSSI (signal strength)?

Ahh yes I can see where that can go, but no it isn't hot chat.

You are probably right I am in a low signal area, RSSI is -98 I guess I need an outside antenna.
