We're thinking of purchasing a Sierra Wireless 598U (Sprint). One of the stated requirements is that the processor should be a "Pentium 150 MHz or higher." We have a couple of old laptops that run a Celeron M processor, I believe at about 1.7 GHz. Will there be any issues using this modem with a Celeron? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, im_electronic. I wonder why they specify that it has to be a Pentium? We have several Pentium computers but also have two laptops that have Celerons that we need it to work with while we are on the go. I just want to make sure that the 598U will also work with those two Celerons.

Thanks for the answer ...I hope you're right.
