Need Help Setting up a router

I bought a net- gear router to plug my alltel pantech 175 card into, but the router wont recognize the card, any ideas? I am not familiar with the router set up. It is a Net Gear MBR 624GU 3G mobile broadband router. Thanks

its entirely likely that the netgear does not support your modem.

you should get a router that does support the alltel um175 like this one for $89
