Anyone have and able to resolve a problem using a USB adapter, VZAccess, and a Mifi?

The USB driver is installed correctly and both computers (Vista64 and XP with SP3) will connect to a standard linksys router using the USB adapter.

But when we launch VZAccess and select the Mifi we get a box to enter the SSID on the back on the Mifi, then it thinks for a few seconds and says "Failed to connect". This happens on BOTH the vista64 and the XP system with the USB adapters.

We have tried 2 versions of USB adapters: Linksys WUSB54GC and the Medialink WMN-USB54g. Both advertise they are compatible with Vista 64 (and they are, they work just fine with the linksys router).

I installed an extra internal Linksys wireless card on the XP system and it works just fine with the Mifi (when the Mifi isn't plugged into the other computer, of course)

I'm really scratching my head since the adapters have no problem connecting to a linksys router and I can't imagine that the Mifi is really incompatible with USB adapters. I don't have a vista64 compatible internal card laying around, so I'd really like to get one of these USB adapters working on the Vista64 system.

They won't work either.

Just 'Failed to Connect'

and

try both of those, might be a lingering OS issue or something up with the mifi.
