Hi Folks, I do not see a beginners section, so bare with me.

I also tried a search as well.
I just wanted to to view the menu/set-up in the sprint 2200
does the unit have to be activated?
I have tried 192.168.1.1
And nothing happens.

I will be activating the 15th of this month.
but just wanted to see to menu's and such
inside the unit.
Thanks!
Jeff

1- Unit is on
2- trying to connect to set-up via wireless
not sure what I am doing wrong. Question

If you are using Windows,

Turn on the MiFi
Look on the bottom of the MiFi for the SSID
Go to Windows, and find that Wireless Access Point
Try to connect to it
The security key is printed on the bottom of the MiFi
Then after you connect,
Use FF or IE and go to 192.168.1.1
then you can browse the MiFi settings and interface
The password is "admin" when you are in the MiFi

Did just what you said and it is all good now (THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !)

All works, now to activate the MiFi. They told me to wait until my billing cycle , not sure why, (that will be the 15th)

I am going crazy waiting though. Laughing

Now to see if my wife and I will go over the 5 gig limit on our Dell Mini's
when we travel we both mostly just surf and such. we do not use video
or do large downloads. she plays on play fish a lot. I am hoping sprint will be a good addition for us.

I also am interested if this will work when roaming. We have no roaming charges on our phones , so if this will work in roaming areas or not.

THANKS!
Jeff
