I have read that since mobile broadband on a cdma network it is the most secure wireless out there but I just want to make sure that is still the case.

On the Today Show a few weeks back they profiled WiFi security as being weak but said that Mobile Broadband (aircard) was the most secure. Smile They say it at the very very end after the 6 min. mark I think.

--> today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184...530153#33530153

Then I come across this article that popped up on digg or somewhere which says cell networks aren't 100% secure, mainly GSM is less than CDMA. Sad

--> newsweek.com/id/200878

So what is the deal? People are opportunists and I just want to make sure I am not making it too easy for someone to hack my connection. Is it really possible for someone to snoop on my connection using a spy-phone connection as referenced in the article?

it's too difficult for someone to want to do. the feds or a PI firm might if someones out to get you.

other than that if someone is just looking to get internet access there's better ways.
