Has anyone here ever tried a fractal antenna on an EVDO modem? A fractal is a geometric shape which repeats itself - when used in antenna design it supposedly provides a 20% improvement over normal conventional antennas. Cellular phones without external antennas usually have a fractal antenna - theyre supposed to be better in that they receive a wide range of signals (bluetooth, wifi, evdo etc) all in one antenna. So - has anyone ever tried one?
