|
|
I have the MBR1200 setup with simple WEP 64 Bit open access and I haave disabled the require user login I tried login in using my Tmobile BB Pearl Flip Phone (another dud), and my Palm T|X
The Tmobile BB Pearl Flip can log into the router, but No internet can be accessed.
The Palm T|X cannot even connect to the router,
I tried to scan automatic and then manually enter the SSID information, this device is turning into a Brick everyday.
On the upbeat side works fine with my computers but not my portables.
I hope a fix is implemented soon or it goes back. |

You may want to take a look at the other issues that these users are experiencing. It seems that you are seeing the same behavior that others are reporting with the CradlePoint MBR1200.
I just so happen to have a Palm T|X and tested the same model of router with it. When connecting to just about every other manufacturer of an Internet Connected Router, it would not perform with the MBR1200 at all.
We are hoping CradlePoint will answer the call to these perplexing questions with a firmware update that will resolve all of these annoying issues.

It appears that there is a simple setting that can be disabled in the MBR1200 CradlePoint Router, that allows the portable devices to once again send and receive data on the public internet...
One must log into their admin page of the MBR1200 and head over to ADVANCED----->Wireless (WiFi)---------> Disable the WMM Enable and save the settings on the router.
The next time you connect to the Wireless SSID that your MBR1200 is broadcasting, will enable you to request web pages etc...
See Graphic below to perform the configuration properly.
