Antenna Recommendation?

Equipment: V740 air card on Verizon service. Card is plugged into an MBR1000 router, with a Booster Antenna attached. (Round top with square bottom sold by 3G).

Signal Strength: -86 to -93 with or without the Booster Antenna. My cell phone shows signal strength of -90 to -110. Connection varies from Broadband to National Connect and back again.

Speedtest.net gives me a Ping of 662ms

We live in an RV, so often end up in locations with weak signals. RV means no magnetic attachment for antenna, and I don’t like the thought of drilling holes in my roof.

Also, would a signal amplifier help, or should just a better antenna be enough.

There seems to be be a very minor difference, if any, between the Magnetic Mount Antenna, and the Omni.

looks like your testing in a well covered area already, wait till your on the fringe.

I don't understand your comment about being in a well covered area. This area has the weakest signals we've seen in almost a year. Only place that was worse was Big Bend, TX.
