Guys what type of NAT type does this device use??i am using for xbox live and it says i may need to change my Nat TYPE can this be done??

you'll neeed to port forward, also try enabling te network feature,

follow the link, look up port forwarding in the manual or mention of it in the 2200's web interface.

other than that there isn't much you can do off the stock 2200.
using it with a cradlepoint or other solution (linux as router) might work as well. the xbox's do best effort to get you running.
