Did you know that your Cradlepoint router is not just the best choice for use with mobile broadband, its also a top-notch router for use with common cable, DSL or satellite internet connections?
It's true, and it's easy! By taking advantage of this functionality, you could set your router up to use your cable/DSL/satellite connection primarily and "fail-over" to mobile broadband if your hard-wired service goes down, or simply eliminate the need for two set-ups (one for mobile broadband, one for your hard-wired connection). Even if you don't have cable/DSL/satellite right now, the fact that your Cradlepoint router CAN be used as a router for those types of internet connections makes your router that much more of a wise investment in case you ever do have access to those options!

That's just what I use my MBR 1000 for; Road Runner cable internet. And it works great, even with a broken antenna. (I got it from Best Buy's Overstock, and they shipped it in an envelope, box-less. Broke during transit.)
I wonder, if anyone else uses it for their cable internet, what wireless N access card is best with Cradlepoint? They no longer sell their USB version, so I have to buy a different brand anyway. |

| I use my MBR1000 for just that. My "cable modem" is the main Internet service, and I manually failover to my tethered Blackberry Storm when the main service is down. |
