| All of a sudden, regardless of what Browser I am using - it seems like the page never finishes loading. It just started. Any suggestions? |

Done that - it is very strange. It looks like it actually loads the entire page but you can tell it is still loading something. I have the same results with FireFox, Opera and Explorer. It doesn't do it all the time but enough to slow down everything. Very strange. Thanks for your reply. |

| Sprint is having DNS problems keeping some pages from loading. I had problems starting Thursday night and with Sprint Tech help last night (tuesday) changed my HA DNS numbers. Problem corrected. |

Interesting. I'm running Verizon. I am on my Laptop and having the same exact problem as I was having on my Desktop. My desktop is in MD and my laptop (I'm on now) is in PA so I know it isn't because of a particular location. If the problem continues - maybe I will give Verizon a call.
Thanks for the possible problem. |

Negative - see my other reply - looks like maybe a Verizon problem.
Thanks for the suggestion. |

| Interesting side note. I just put the card in my CradlePoint and I have absolutely no problem with page loads. When I try the card on my Laptop (card directly into USB port) and Desktop (card directly into USB port) - page load problems. Very very interesting... |

Mine did the same thing with the Cradlepoint or without it. I had to change my HA DNS numbers to fix it. I'm on Sprint SUO. Works fine now. |

Well, I just got off the phone with Verizon. The technician said I should contact the Vendor of my PC, Laptop and ZoneAlarm! Can you believe that? I explained that it just started happening and that if it was ZoneAlarm - hitting Refresh wouldn't cause the page to load without a ZoneAlarm Alert. I also mentioned that it appears that when going through my router - it didn't appear to have a problem. Then, they offered to upgrade my AirCard - simply unbelievable. I realize that maybe it is my modem but I already purchased a backup because I didn't want to lose my unlimited feature (running Verizon Broadband since they started it). I am very very disappointed with Verizon - I have never had a problem with their support until today. Ah, ain't monopolies wonderful? |

Well, I finally figured out the problem. I searched ZoneAlarm, Grisoft (AVG) and Webroot (SpyWare) - I use all three packages (paid subscriptions). I found others (using AVG) with the same exact problem. I then noticed that just about the time I would notice a problem - my status bar would consistantly show it waiting on st1.avg.com . I shut down the AVG WebShield (prevents downloading infected files) and all my problems went away. I realize that I'm more at risk now then I was before but this will work while I look for another Virus program. I might look at Webroot and ZoneAlarm Anti-Virus program.
Thanks again. |
