I have been fighting it not long after I got it, today was the worst of the worse of battles (hey I can be creative can't I?)

anyway... I did do a search there is a TON of information out there, and the sprint website even resolved part of an issue I had but doesn't resolve a new one I have now.

Lets just say that Vista won't install the novatel drivers at all, it tries to install as a generic standard modem. I have the same USB modem on another laptop and it installed just fine so I know there isn't a problem with the device.

I used the driver cleanup tool, that did the trick to getting the onboard "CD" back, but it didn't solve the driver issues... Vista can't find the drivers for the modem at all or so it thinks it can't. i have countlessly uninstalled/reinstalled the driver without incident until today and would like to know where/how I can get the device drivers for it.

Until someone pipes in - I searched the net and found:

Thanks,

I have the sprint smartview, I know that part works and even after installing the "generic" drivers for some reason, sprint SV will not detect the device so I will definitely give it a try.
