|
|
When using my 4G Motorola USB from Clear, I get about 8Mbps when connected directly to my laptop.
But when I plug the same card into my Clear PHS300 I only get 2.6Mbps constantly.
Is there some sort of speed limiter on this device? Or is there a setting I can change to get the correct speed out of my modem? |

I have the Phs300 with the U300.
I can't seem to get wimax to work when I connect the U300 directly to my Laptop. But, when I connect it to the Phs300 I get Wimax but it taps out a 3Mbps. I'm also currently on a quest to find what speeds people are getting with the Phs300. |

| I googled and didn't find any speed tests, try the methods refrenced in the attached articles oyu cna set the ehternet port to WAN and connect a wireless client and see what speeds you get, this will show the max throughput of the chipset in the PHS, relate that to you 4G speeds and your all set. |

Try this,
Disable Traffic Shaping, Disable SPI, and if you have a small usb extension cable try placing it between the modem and the router. |

Any updates on this?
I've tried the suggestions in this thread but haven't had any luck in breaking the 2.5Mbps "barrier"
This thing isn't much better than a 3g Mifi if I can't get up over 2.5Mbps |

Still maxing out at 2Mbps 2.5 here.
There's been discussion over at http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=471 for Wimax Speeds.
Maybe I'll start a Thread over there and see if we get any feedback. |
