EVDO Went away last week??

My UM175 would lock "DO" with a good signal. On a good day I would see a flash of "rA" and never lock "1X"

Two weeks ago my DO (EVDO) disappeared. Now I have the weak to nonexistent rA and only locking into 1X (RTT). My rA is so weak I can't surf the internet when it tries to lock it.

I'm scheduled for the Alltel to Verizon switch on the 17th of this month, but they have done something to the towers or my card. Its weird as my Blackberry can see the EVDO, but the data card can't?

Check your HDR rssi in fieldtest mode and you either need an antenna or easier would be to get the latest prl.

My PRL is now 40055 in my Pantech UM175, but still no EVDO access. Went to Verizon on 10/17/09.

This is what I've had to deal with since aug 6th

aug 5th was fine was locking a great DO signal pings in the 200-300 range.

bam aug 6th and barely 1 bar of 1x and when it did connect 4000-12000 ping.

tech support says I'm in a fringe area and won't help me and I'm stuck in this crappy contract for another 1.5 years.

now I don't see how fringe area supports this bull of an explanation. I was getting a great signal for almost 3 years and then it just died and gave me this horrid connection.

the modem page on my router say atm i'm at 70% signal and -69rsi
with 4 bars not sure was kind as it doesn't show. but still my pings are horrible and i get max of 25Kb/s download speeds.

using a ec168 with the cradlepoint ctr350 2.45firmware and prl 40052
