ok, well, question here then,

can I get more life out of the battery pack by lowering the output voltage?

I have a device that operates on 6-18vdc, from past power circuit work matching the battery's output voltage would get me the longest life. anyone know what the MP2450i's actual battery pack does?

my thought is to match that voltage, or if it would work better set it down to 6vdc, see how long it will go.

anyone have experience with this?
