Does anyone know if this router will support reserved IPs with DHCP? I have version 1.0 and firmware 2.00.9.

I have seen reference to DD-WRT at dd-wrt.com . But it doesn't look like there's a version available for the 3G router. Anyone have any experience with this?

you can do that in OpenWRT, just should look to see if your 3G modem is compatible.

if it isn't compatible, get a DD-WRT'd router and use it as your DHCP server, this will add a few 10/100 ports, another wifi connection, ofer you some captive portal options, etc, etc.

main steps:
on DD-WRT:
set IP to 192.168.1.2 or similar
disable WAN
assign WAN to switch
set DHCP with the linksys as the router
set DHCP with your reservations in the advanced menu

on linksys:
disable DHCP
connect LAN port to WAN or any port on DD-WRT
