|
|
Anyone load balancing to a single carrier (preferably Verizon)? I don't *think* this is a Verizon issue as both cards work by themselves with no problems. BUT I really don't know what's going on. Any ideas would be great.
I've been running for almost a year with the MBR1000, UM175 and Verizon service (and been very happy), but lately I've been hitting my cap. As a result, I decided to get a 2nd aircard.
I wanted another carrier, but based on the coverage maps I've researched I determined that Verizon was the only carrier that could give me steady Rev-A.
The problem is that I can't seem to load-balance. One of my modems always goes "down" after a while.
They both start out green (browser admin interface) and I can watch both cards being used to send/receive data. After an unknown amount of time (not too long I'm thinking, but I haven't sat there watching either) - say on the order of an hour or two, one always goes into a bad state trying to reconnect (don't have the state in front of me, but it's something like "suspended for x minutes y seconds". I usually have to pull the modem out and plug it back in to get out of the reconnect cycle.
Here's a log extract below. My firmware is 1.6.0.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ed

|
|
The log extract I posted showed it successfully reconnecting (status_ok).
Sometimes it does that and stays connected for a bit (the more common behavior) and sometimes it stays in an endless loop returning a "status_no_response" status.
Thanks again.
