|
|
Firmware version 2.4.5 is now available for the CTR350 and PHS300. Cradlepoint's latest firmware release for the CTR350 and PHS300 adds official device support for:
* Novatel MC760 for the Vigin and Bell networks
* Verizon PC770 ExpressCard (requires Expresscard-to-USB adapter)
You can download the full release notes for this firmware here
For those ordering the CTR350 or PHS300 from 3Gstore.com, starting 09/30/09, we will automatically include a CD that has the latest firmware. |

Looks like they fixed the problem that caused a bricked PHS300 when the battery died unexpectedly. Now the router will not write to flash memory while low on power, preventing corruption.
Anyone running 2.4.2 should probably update to this new version ASAP to avoid the bricking problem that quite a few people (me included) here in the forum have had. |

|
|
Hi all,
I tried uploading the new firmware because I am using MC760 USB modem and doing it with a Mac over the web browser at 192.168.0.1. Unfortunately it always came back UPLOAD FAILED (after uploading 100%) I tried both Windows and Mac. I tried 2.4.5 and 2.5.0 and no luck either.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks!

You might want to try resetting that router to factory defaults and trying again, that is an odd issue you are seeing. _________________ BITF, PITM |
