I will tell you what, I will let you be our Alltel PC5750 tester. Contact sales@3gstore.com, reference this thread. We will give you a special discount on the MBR1200 to be "our tester" for the AllTel PC5750. Not only, will we give you a special discount, IF it doesn't work, we will give you a refund and give you a pre-paid return label.
My PC5750 says Qualcomm not Alltel. Do you need a tester for the Qualcomm? |

Yep, I tried one with my MBR1200 a few days ago. It doesn't work.
Card Model: Pantech UMW190
Router Model: Cradlepoint MBR1200
Router Firmware: 1.6.3
The good folks at 3Gstore.com did their best, but alas, no luck... |

Hi, I have been very happy with my MBR1000, however my partner has not. Seems the signal to her office which is upstairs (mine is ground floor) and about 45 feet from the router location on the first floor, is not as strong as my Linksys was. I noticed the 1200 claims more range, but not sure how that is tested. I was thinking maybe I could place the 1000 closer to her office and feed a signal to the 1000 from the 1200, and then she would have a strong signal from the 1000 located nearby.
thanks |

I need someting which I don't think it does (but could).
My hotel has a bounce page but can pre-authorize one device so I can avoid it. I have several laptops, PDAs, etc.
I would love a mode which could use the wifi as a RECEIVER so it would use the Hotel's wifi by default (rebroadcasting on another channel would be nice but not necessary) and failover/load balance with EVDO. Then all my laptops would have access and even PDAs via wireless (by attaching my pocket router), all with predictable IP addresses so I can have my own room-network.
Can the 1200 do something like this (I assume it can do WDS) |

| I take it the "mid november" product has something to do with the 1k or 1.2k? I already have a small travel router that can act as a client, but the antenna/reception is too weak. |

we've been researching wifi bridge options for months. the unit we've decided on is a new model from a player who's been doing these things for years.
our first shipment is still expected mid-month and our review will be ready on launch day, or maybe a day or two early.
high gain 5dBi omni will ship with it, and its expected to work great with the 15dBi directional wifi antenna we've been selling.
our solution will have many applications... pretty amazing unit. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas/Routers/Amps :: Verizon EVDO :: Sprint EVDO :: Why Buy from 3Gstore? |

Ooo. Is it Peplink? I love peplink products. I have a triple wan peplink router and a pepwave officepoint access point. Rock solid products and fantastic support. Even when my router was out of warranty they gave me support help for an issue I had -- and the problem ended up being user error on my part. I've never had a problem with either unit due to the unit. The router is now over 3 years old and going strong.
If it's not Peplink, I hope they are just as good. |
