Just curious to know if there are firmware updates available for the MF636, and how I can check what version I currently have. This is the standard Rogers Wireless Rocket Stick.

Thanks

Firmware Version 1.6 and above support ZTE MF636 from Rogers.... however the standard speed stick from Rogers these days is Sony Ericsson MD400G and I wish Cradlepoint would quickly release an update firmware...(requested more than two months ago).... and/or support for the new (HSPA+ 21Mbps) ZTE MF 688

If you live in Canada and receive a letter from ZTE requeting that you upgrade the firmware, I would think hard about proceeding if I owned a Cradlepoint router. They may be firmware compatibility issues and you may find yourself caught between two tech support companies claiming that it is not their problem. You may find yourself kissing your Internet connection goodbye.
