I live out in the woods, no internet other than satellite. Now days all wireless provides have a usage limit so, I can not use satellite without the risk of going over the limit. I have verizon service with no usage limit, I purchased a Cradlepoint MBR1000 and have a tower at about one mile away, small town = few users Very Happy

. Now I have internet all over my home and also outside my home. In short, I would recommend this little device and also would like to thank the store who sold it to me: 3gstore.

I'm waiting for a tower near the summer camp I worked at, way at the end of a valley, no good cell signal at all. for some reason wen my modem was connected to my laptop I would be able to connect at 1xRTT, but my MBR wouldn't connect at all.

I live in Central Texas as well. My connection screams at certain parts of the day and crawls at others. Smile
