I'm a little confused on the Verizon Coverage Map. Does the Mobile Broadband/Vcast map - with the dark blue areas indicate that it is EVDO RevA. or both EVDO 1x & RevA?
I see that the Push to Talk map lists EVDO 1x and RevA in much smaller areas. Is the the same as what is used for the Broadband or is it different?
Thanks

what coverage are you trying to determine? where you can use PTT?
or where you can tether and get Rev-A data speeds?

I'm interested in using a modem with a router. Most likely will go with a Novatel USB760 and cradel point mbr 1000. Then I saw that this PTT mentioned NVDO RevA which I take to be the higher speed -3G network. However, the coverage is was showing for the RevA was much smaller than the Blue areas for mobile broadband.
So like I asked, is that different with the point to talk than the regular broadband NVDO RevA. Or are you saying that it depends on the equipment you want to use. Are the Blue areas in the mobile broad band map all NVDO RevA and not a combination of it and NVDO 1x?
Thanks for responding.

the blue areas on their coverage map indicate EVDO Rev-A coverage for all verizon wireless devices that are Rev-A capable.
