|
|
Hello everyone. I'm hoping someone can help me.
I have a Sprint U760. It works on my Windows 7 laptop with Sprint SmartView perfectly. Keep that in mind.
I had a CradlePoint CTR350 not broadcasting any Internet. Sometimes, I could plug in the router and I would have Internet for some minutes and then it would just stop. I was in touch with CradlePoint Tech Support about this, and they actually replaced my CTR350, even though it was 1 day out of warranty. Thanks CradlePoint!
Now, this CTR350 is doing the exact same thing.
I've restored factory settings, applied firmware 2.4.2, nothing works. Everything says it is connected with plenty of signal and proper settings, but DNS requests don't work, and pings don't work. This is with and without OpenDNS Bypass enabled.
Please, if anyone has a U760, please report if you've got issues. I'm starting to wonder if there is a firmware problem with this modem.. or if there is something wrong with my modem that only affects the CTR350 and not a laptop directly? Or, if there is a hardware revision issue. Both my old CTR350 and the replacement (refurbed, I imagine) were manufactured June 2008.
I'm going to revert back to an older version now and will report my findings.
Here's all diagnostic data I can come up with. Based on what I could find, I have the latest PRL.

| OK, so after posting, I power cycled, and Internet currently works. This usually doesn't do anything. So... If it dies again, I'll revert to firmware 2.3 (first with U760 support) and try again. |
