MBR 1000 Disconnecting

I've had the MBR 1000 for quite some time and this past week have been experiencing a bit of an issue. Whenever I go to download anything (music, files, etc.) it starts the download without issue and then stops randomly. I am usually browsing the internet also and when I refresh the page I'm currently viewing online it seems to start the download back up again, right where it left off. If I don't refresh the website I'm viewing the download stays stopped. Usually the download is unrelated to the website I'm viewing. Any ideas what could be causing this? I haven't had the problem when I put the aircard directly into the computer.

Try doing a firmware upgrade to 1.6.0 http://www.cradlepoint.com/files/uploads/u_mbr_2009_07_06.bin

Then disable traffic shaping and disable SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) then save the settings and reboot the router.
