Through my work I can get an employee discount for Verizon Broadband, $49.99/mo instead of $59.99. I get a choice of several modems to pick from. I want a USB modem and have the choice of either the UM175USB or USB760. Does anyone have a preference, and why?

I'd go with the 760:

smaller
software "on-board" (UM175 requires separate CD)
"NovaSpeed" technology (optimizes up/down speeds)
newer device

The UM175 functions well, its just kinda clunky and has no bells & whistles. (I use one)

and, the usb760 works with more cradlepoint router features like rssi and signal indicator led's.
