according to research i've done on WoW forums, typical usage is +/- 30mb/hr

so your 8hr session would cost you +/- 240mb

Thanks, that seems very reasonable... I am sure with that being said I would have no problem using the 5g plan for an entire month.

Ok

So here is the information I have come up with based off of the statement above. I guess I decided to do this for anyone else out there thinking of getting a wireless network so they can play WoW, but are concerned with the amount of time 5g will provide for you.

Given that 1Hr = 30 MB, the plan provides 5,120 MB or (5 GB) When you divide 5,120 by 30 you get roughly 170. When you divide 170 by 30 you get roughly 5... So if you were to get the Verizon Heavy User plan for 60.00$ monthly you could enjoy about 5 hours daily of WoW!

Honestly even if I were to try to play WoW 5 hours every day I don't think I could do it and I am a very avid gamer!

Granted that this only accounts for WoW time and if you also surf the web on your connection you are going to use more MB per hour.

Anyways I know this is simple math and anyone could have figured it out given the information from the admin who posted here... but I hope this is helpful for someone in the same way it was for me.

I know exactly what plan I want to go with now. I just need to figure out what hardware I need... Once I figure that out and get online... Icould not be happier.
