PHS300 and Verizon BB 8330 version 4.5.0.77

Will the PHS300 work with my BlackBerry 8330 Verizon smartphone running firmware 4.5.0.77? How do you engage the tethering? Is it done over USB cable automagically or does it require bluetooth pairing?

I know, that from postings on this forum, that all Cradlepoint routers had issues with the 4.5xx BB firmware.

Apparently, the just released 1.6 Cradlepoint FW fixes this issue for the MBR1000 and CTR500. This usually means that the next firmware release for the PHS300 and CTR250 will have this fix as well.

When that release will be? Your guess is as good as mine. Smile

The 1.6 fix did fix the BB OS 4.5 issue on the CTR500
