I can certainly stay within the # of megabytes for download/upload with two modems. 1 modem in my netbook's mini PCI slot, the other a USB modem. Can I share one account with both modems or do I need to pay for two completely separate accounts (as if they are for two different people with respective download limits).
This is for Sprint. |

No two modems can be active concurrently under one plan.
Essentially, the lest half of your last sentence is correct. |

Just use one modem. You can use Internet connection sharing and an adhoc wifi connection to essentially turn the laptop that has the Sprint card into a hotspot. It's only got a range of about 30-50 feet, but it works great.
http://cnettv.cnet.com/make-your-laptop-hot-spot/9742-1_53-28619.html there is a video from CNET's site explaining how to do it. |
