I just got my MBR1000 and new Sprint card from the 3GStore today. When using the card directly in my PC, the speeds were decent (not great, but decent). Once I Put it in the router, it's terrible. I apparently have something not set up properly. The latency is atrocious as well - around 600! My latency is usually around 130. I updated the router the most currently firmware but that didn't help.

Search the forums, I had this exact same problem with my Kyocera KR2 (same innards). I rarely use the KR2 now, so I don't know if the problem still exists with the latest firmware upgrades.

Oddly enough, it seems to be OK now. I didn't actually change anything.

First off, I wouldn't use DSL reports, they have lousy software behind their speed tests. www.speakeasy.net/speedtest or speedtest.net would be better.

Second, what modem are you using?

I use speedtest.net frequently as well, though when the connection is truly slow, it doesn't run. I also use sprint.com/speedtest

I have the Compass 597U modem.
