Just FYI... the Palm Treo 650 isn't EVDO capabile. It only operates on 1X.

As far as this guy... All he is doing is hacking the PRI and setting it to work on Verizon's network.

Yes, I saw that too.

Kind of shocking that the Treo 650 isn't EVDO capable. I think it would be an incredible device if it did have EVDO. I was actually considering one, but without EVDO, that is a deal buster for me.

The Treo 650 is based off of the 600 platform which was more than likely produced and developed PRE EVDO populartiy. Also, even though they should have had the forsight to make it EVDO, at the time, space was probably limited to put the EVDO chipset in (plus WAY expensive), as there is already 2 "processors" in their already.
