I'm trying to get my KPC680 to move up to the revA but am not having any luck.
Downloaded and successfully upgraded the firmware from software.alltell.com (though I had to do it on an XP machine).
Tried updating prl files (40036, 38, 42, 48, 49, 50, 51) but all fail activation.
Downloaded vzaccess manager but it only shows 1xrtt.
Our integration here in North MS will be completed on July 12 but my Alltel TouchPro is getting revA already.
Any other thoughts as to what I can do to update to revA on the 680?

Must be a tower issue. I just got back from local Alltel/Verizon store and card showed revA instead of 1x.
I reported the issue to them and they are going to call network techs to check area as they have had numerous reports of issue in the area.
I'll keep you posted on speeds in North MS.
Good news is that the KPC680 from Alltel indeed can do revA. |
