Not the card, actually, but my MacBook Pro's recognition thereof.

This is a Verizon Wireless Broadband PC card, model PC5740. I have a Duel Adapter (sic) to get from the PC card to the Express34 slot in my MBP. It worked fine under Tiger, but since installing Leopard recently, I get a message saying "Card does not exist," though it clearly does, and even blinks green.

Finally, I downloaded the VZAccess Manager software from Verizon, and installed it. Previously under Tiger there was no need for it. So VCAccess installed all right, and seems to see the card. But when I click Connect, after a pause I get a message saying that the connection failed. And if I click Curitel under the menu modem icon, I get the "Does not exist" fallacy.

If I go to Network Preferences, the settings for the Curitel modem (the card) are blank, but the old Curitel Modem settings are there (attempting to connect seems to keep creating these network IDs), and when I put the settings in, still nothing works.

How do I get the functionality of this card back? Is it possible that this card is incompatible with Leopard? I figure if anyone knows, it'll be someone on this forum.

/Mr Lynn
