Greetings:
For several days now I've been unable to connect at my work location, but just a few miles away at home, I can connect with the same device (Ipod touch). We've tried several other devices, all connections are refused. The MiFi Connect light is on. It asks for the password, which didn't use to happen (after the first time).

Any thoughts are appreciated. I've had it for about a month now.

Thanks,
Norm

Which connection, the Evdo or Wifi?

Please give each detailed step up to the point where it succeeds of fails. I might have some ideas, but you need to narrow the field.

Thanks for your reply.

For whatever reason, two days later it worked again from the same location, and is still working fine. Must have been a local cell problem.

My apologies for not posting this sooner.

It happens. I had a very good tower where I was working once and it went down (at least the PPP lost packets past the first hop). I went through the CSR robot scripts without success after talking to one of their main tech people. Sometime during the hour spent trying to solve the problem, he called a different cell phone I had on the plan and left a message telling me it was the tower.

I think they have watchdog systems if they fail completely, but this was dropping 90% of packets so still had enough of a heartbeat so it probably took someone to actually look at it.
